NBC News: Donnelly is “a pioneer of on-the-fly sketching of live events — an art she calls tweet-drawing”

Lauren Prince, a reporter for NBC News,  got in touch with Liza before the New York Primary and asked if she could videotape her live drawing of the evening’s returns as she watched them.  They had a great time talking politics, watching the returns, and discussing new media.  Here is the article Prince wrote about Liza, and she did a Snapchat during the evening as well.  According to Prince,  within moments of beginning, the NBC Snapchat had 100 viewers.

Live Drawing the Benghazi Hearings and Hillary’s Testimony

Last week, I watched Hillary Clinton testify for eleven hours on one day of the Benghazi Committee hearings. I drew some of what I saw and immediately shared it with Twitter and Facebook. Many of the quotes here were verbatim, others I could not help but contribute my thoughts on the situation. Hillary held up amazingly well, and many of the news outlets and observers as well as pollsters feel she benefited from the day.
