One of Liza’s most popular books is Funny Ladies, a history of the women cartoonists at The New Yorker from 1925 to 2005. Critically acclaimed, it is considered a resource for historians. She is currently at work on the sequel.
Another popular book is Cartoon Marriage, written with her
New Yorker cartoonist husband, Michael Maslin.
Liza has curated numerous collections of cartoons as well, most recently a collection of writing and cartoons by women cartoonists, called Sex and Sensibility.
Liza’s book Women On Men is a collection of her writings and cartoons on feminism, a humorous take.
When Do They Serve the Wine? Liza’s cartoon musings on all the things society does to women and women do to themselves to try to fit in, in every decade of their lives.
Liza wrote and illustrated a series of seven titles for Scholastic. The most popular was Dinosaurs Halloween. These are available on Amazon, but aslo as e-books.
