Exhibition at University of Connecticut Liza and Michael will have a large exhibition of their work “His and Hers: The Work of New Yorker Cartoonists Liza receives Outstanding Alumni Award at Earlham College. An innovative college located in Indiana, Earlham was recently profiled in Loren Pope’s book “40 Colleges that Change Livesâ€. Known “Cartooning and Comic Art†in America class at Vassar begins. Liza will be co-teaching a class on the history of comic and cartoon art with English Professor and Department Chair Liza selected as US rep at Bogota International Book Fair The First Exposition, Creative Women and the Art of the Comics was held at the Bogota International Book Fair in Fall 2006: Vassar College English Department Faculty Liza's lecture at Vassar College in the fall 2005 was so well received that she was hired to be on Cartoonfest 2006 Liza recently helped organize a very successful cartoon event in Cornwall, Connectictut, one of the homes of James Thurber.
