A few years ago, Liza discovered that she could quickly draw on her iPad and post her cartoons instantaneously on social media.  It all started when she was    watching the State Of The Union, and perhaps out of boredom, she began drawing what she saw….and the response was immediate and positive. It seemed as if people on social media were hungry for new visuals, and these quick sketches–often with snarky commentary in the drawing or tweet–struck a nerve. She just returned from being on-site at the 2016 Oscars and red carpet, perhaps the first cartoonist to ever get press credentials there. She has tweet drawn the Emmys, the Golden Globes, the Grammys, the BET Awards, the Tonys, the Olympics, the Mad Men premier and finale, literary events, and more.  Some of her clients include The New Yorker, Fusion, The New York Times, BET, Medium, PBS, Narrative Magazine and others. Most recently, she was hired to live tweet drawing events at the venue, often providing commentary after the conference, using the drawings.                       Her live tweet drawings  have been covered in NBC News   Ad Week   USAToday    People Magazine
